The 3-Ingredient Protein Granola You Need in Your Life!

Who doesn’t love starting the day with a crunchy bowl of granola and creamy yoghurt? It’s a breakfast classic. However, there’s a hidden downside to those convenience-store-bought bags: they are often sugar bombs, surprisingly high in fat, and frequently lacking the protein you need to fuel your gains.

Fed up with the "healthy" labels that didn't deliver, Gemma headed to the kitchen to experiment. The result? A high-protein granola that is so simple, literally anyone can make it.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Only 3 Ingredients: And one of them is just water!

  • Macro-Friendly: Higher protein than retail versions.

  • Total Versatility: You can change the vibe every time you bake a batch.

The Secret is in the protein Powder

The beauty of this recipe lies in the flavour possibilities. For our first batch, we used strawberry protein powder for a bright, summery crunch.

Pro Tip: If you’re a chocoholic, try using chocolate protein powder and tossing in some 100% dark chocolate chips once the granola has cooled.

Now let’s get to the recipe…

Macros (per batch)

374 kcal, protein 22g, carbs 51g, fat 5g

Ingredients:

  • 85g oats

  • 15g vegan protein powder (choose an isolate for maximum protein)

  • 50ml water

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

  3. Mix the oats with the protein powder.

  4. Add in the water and mix again (we prefer to use our hands.) It will be fairly dry so you will need to really smoosh it together.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven and serve.
