Triple chocolate high-protein cookies

Cookies are usually loaded with sugar, oil, and refined flour—definitely not ideal if you’re aiming to improve your health or physique.

But the good news is, cookies can absolutely be part of a balanced diet when made with the right ingredients! Our recipe uses textured vegetable protein (TVP) to boost nutrition, add texture, and pack in extra protein—without affecting the flavour (we promise you won’t even taste it!).

Why You'll Love This Recipe:

  • Nutrient-Dense: Loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

  • High Protein: 100g in the entire batch!

  • Quick and Easy: Make them in 5 minutes!

  • Oil, Sugar and Guilt Free: A tasty, healthy addition to anyone’s diet!

With this recipe you’ll get maximum flavour AND AN INCREDIBLE PROTEIN BOOST. Let’s get started!

Macros (per serving)

154kcals, protein 10g, carbs 9g, fat 8g.

Equipment Needed:

  • Blender

Ingredients (makes 10 cookies):

  • 80g dates

  • 185ml soya milk

  • 40g TVP mince (dry weight)

  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds

  • 60g chocolate protein powder

  • 2 tbsp cocoa or cacao powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 100g peanut butter

  • 40g dark chocolate chips (ideally sugar-free)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/360 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Blend the dates and soya milk until smooth.

  3. Add it to a bowl along with the TVP. Mix and set aside.

  4. To another bowl, add the flax seeds, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda and cinnamon.

  5. Add the peanut butter to the TVP mixture and combine.

  6. Add the dry ingredients and mix; it is easiest to do this with your hands.

  7. Form the mixture into 10 pieces. Roll each one gently into a ball and then flatten it out with the palm of your hand. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 18 minutes.

  8. Allow to rest for 10 minutes and enjoy!

For even even more favourable macro split make the following amendments:

  1. Remove the cocoa powder

  2. Remove the chocolate chips

  3. Half the peanut butter

  4. Reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes

This will give the cookies the following calories/macros:

 98 kcals, 8g protein, 8g carbs, 4g fat

Getting extra protein into the diet has never been easier (or tastier)!
